Korea House is a cultural complex where visitors can enjoy the beauty of Korea, such as Korean traditional house, and royal food as well as traditional cultural products, traditional performance, and wedding ceremony – all in one place. It was originally a private residence of Pak Paengnyeon who was a scholar of Jiphyeonjeon Hall during the reign of King Sejong and was one of the Six Martyred Ministers. Later, after the establishment of the South Korean government, it was used as a reception hall for VIPs from abroad. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing time while drinking a cup of tea at SARANG Cafe & Art Shop, a reception room at the Korea House.
